Workshop
History You Can Touch – Rensselaerville becomes a true "history lab" where students learn to get their hands on the past and understand the importance of primary sources. We visit the Historical Society as well as the churches, the houses and the cemeteries of children of the mid-19th century. By day's end students understand and write secondary source history drawn from primary sources they have actually touched. Grades: 6 - 8
