Workshops
Memoirs – Everyone has a story of value to tell. Flannery OâConnor said that those who have survived childhood have enough information about life to last the rest of their days. This workshop will help students write about the ridiculous, hilarious, tragic, and mundane moments that make up their lives. Grades: 9 - 12 Travel Writing + This workshop offers a blend of place-writing and personal narrative. Travel writing is rooted in discovery of ourselves and
of the places we absorb and observe-whether the writer is in the next town over or in a different time zone. Students will tune
in to and learn from their surroundings. Grades: 6 - 8
