The first step toward celebrating diversity is in understanding how and why we think the way we do about issues of race, class, gender, and more. In this workshop students will become enlightened as they unpack the "invisible backpack" of privilege in dynamic small group, large group and individual activities. The workshop will culminate in students using their new found knowledge to create video public service announcements to bring back to their schools to help educate others.
